For a large hospital, we worked to provide a patient and bed management dashboard application to help improve their day-to-day processes. We provided a custom-developed solution that presents very near-real-time patient and bed schedule data for each cardiovascular clinical unit and for physicians individually by consolidating information from 5 different applications. This new application ensures the availability of critical patient information in a single integrated view. It also allows on-demand inspection of individual patient details. This application provides physicians the ability to see their own patients and procedures ‘at a glance.’ It is easily accessible via multiple access points: wall-mounted touch screens, desktops, laptops, and tablet devices, so it is a very convenient and efficient solution for this hospital. The application we developed for this large hospital utilizes the latest ASP.Net Web Development and adaptive display methodologies: REST Services, MVC, and Client-side rendering.
